In wake of widening awareness around climate adaptation, I am pleased to present to forthcoming books that explore what adaptation actually means, as well as the kind of systems, models and cognitive shifts that will be required if humanity is to survive beyond 'societal collapse'.

The first book presents cases of adaptation that already exist and the lessons that can be learned from them.

The second is a collection by 18 authors around the world, which explore various case studies, models and systems. By including high representation by people from the global south, from backgrounds that are traditionally unheard, we hope to widen debate and present new perspectives.
